The Haas team has once again decided to compete in the United States Grand Prix in Austin with a special livery.

This livery highlights a bald eagle, emblem of the United States, as well as blue, white and red, on the pontoons of the Haas VF-24.

Nico Hülkenberg and Kevin Magnussen, who will try to continue the good momentum of Haas which remains on three consecutive Grands Prix finished in the points, will also wear special suits.

The COTA route could suit the Haas VF-24

In seven editions contested in Austin, Haas has only scored three small points. Hülkenberg and Magnussen, who are competing in their last United States Grand Prix with Haas this weekend, aim to boost this statistic.

“The United States Grand Prix is undoubtedly one of the most important races of the year for us; we have a lot of American partners and, of course, our local fans”a reconnu Hülkenberg. “It’s a race where the fans know F1 very well and it’s really motivating to see the support of over 400,000 people over the weekend.”

“We have a new development to make in this race and it’s a Sprint weekend, so every lap will count on the track.”

For his part, Kevin Magnussen is confident about the competitiveness of the Haas VF-24 on the COTA track in Austin.

I’m looking forward to our home race, it’s obviously an important race for us, and one where there is an extra desire to do well,” he indicates.

“COTA is a great circuit and it’s one of the biggest crowds of the year, it’s a huge event. We’ve had good and bad races there, but we should be pretty strong this year because it’s a medium downforce circuit, which tends to suit us. I’ve had some good battles there in the past and I hope to score some points.”
