LAFC is still 2nd in the MLS Western Conference thanks to its victory in Cincinnati (1-2) on Saturday, while Inter Miami, leader in the East, drew against Charlotte (1-1) .
The Los Angeles FC of Olivier Giroud and Hugo Lloris remains on the podium of the Western Conference in MLS, the North American football championship. Winner of the MLS Cup on Thursday, the first trophy for the two former French internationals in the United States, LAFC beat Cincinnati on Saturday in the championship (1-2). Lloris started in goal, while Giroud came on in the second half.
In the East, Inter Miami keeps the lead in the conference thanks to its draw against Charlotte (1-1). Argentina’s Lionel Messi scored a nice left-footed goal in the 67th minute to equalize. The man with eight Golden Balls now has 15 goals in the regular season.
