MotoGP Indonesia J1 BREAKING NEWS: Big injury for Miguel Oliveira

Miguel Oliveira, MotoGP rider for Aprilia Trackhouse Racing, suffered a big fall during FP1 of the 2024 Indonesian Grand Prix. Bad news for the Portuguese, who has been struggling to complete full seasons for some time. Already absent for the majority of 2023 due to multiple injuries, Oliveira suffers a new setback at Mandalika, which could mar a busy end to the year.

This is news we would rather not announce. Following his accident during FP1 MotoGP earlier in the night, medical staff detected a fracture in his right wrist. A compromising handicap which will cause him to miss the Indonesian Grand Prix. At the same time, a possible operation is being studied according to the latest sources distilled by Trackhouse Racing:
“Miguel suffered a broken right wrist. He is undergoing a CT scan at Mataram Hospital to explore the possibility of surgery. We will provide more information as soon as we know more” revealed Davide Brivio, director of Trackhouse Racing.

While he has just been signed by Pramac Yamaha for next yearMiguel Oliveira will hope not to miss too many stages of this Asian tour in order to end 2024 on a good note.
