Jean-Louis Michaud wins bronze medal in paratir

AAfter Tanguy de La Forest’s two para-shooting medals, including a title, Jean-Louis Michaud has brought home a third, in the 50m rifle prone (SH1) event. This is his first participation in the Paralympic Games and therefore his first medal.

The 41-year-old Frenchman led the race for a long time before making a few mistakes in his shots on the last day of the para-shooting competition. In this mixed event, Germany’s Natascha Hiltrop won with a new Paralympic record (250.2 points) ahead of Sweden’s Anna Benson.
