The table of medals won by country and by athlete this Tuesday, September 3

PARALYMPIC GAMES PARIS 2024 – The French day was marked by four medals (2 silver and 2 bronze). On the other hand, no title to get their teeth into for the Tricolores

After several days of hearing the Marseillaise at the Paralympic Games, French fans were not so lucky on Tuesday, September 3. They were still able to see four of their representatives on the podiums, with Ugo Didier and Alex Portal in silver and Matéo Bohéas and Laurent Chardard in bronze. France remains 5th with 11 gold medals and 38 in total.

Money for Alex Portal and Ugo Didier

Five days after winning the 400m freestyle, Ugo Didier won another medal, silver, in the 100m backstroke. Ahead of him is the Belarusian Yahor Shchalkanau and his Paralympic record of 1’00”76. The Frenchman swam in 1’01”48 and may have regrets because his record of 1’00”70…Alex Portal also finished behind a Belarusian and not just any Belarusian. It was the legend Ilhar Boki, who even broke the world record in the 200m medley. The Frenchman won his 4th medal at the Paris Paralympic Games (3 silver and 1 bronze). He leaves the competition without the gold but with great pride in view of his successful career.

Bronze for Matéo Bohéas and Laurent Chardard
