After daring to wear a skirt, Koundé talks about the “little competition” of looks between the Blues

The dinosaur bag, the heels and now the skirt. Every time he arrives at Clairefontaine, Jules Koundé is used to showing off his fashion sense to offer looks that are extravagant to say the least. So much so that the subject of his clothing style has become central within the France group.

“It’s a meeting awaited by many people”

“It’s no secret that I like fashion and clothes,” the FC Barcelona defender admitted at a press conference on Tuesday. “I’ve always liked dressing up, looking good when I leave the house, whether it’s to buy bread or go shopping. It’s a pleasure, it’s something many people look forward to. It’s cool, it’s also a bit of a competition between us. I enjoy doing it, I feel good in my clothes. It helps me disconnect.”

Last May, just before the Euro, the French defender arrived at Clairefontaine wearing heeled cowboy boots, a black leather jacket and an orange tie. On Monday, Koundé showed in a long black skirt by British designer Simone Rocha, a sleeveless T-shirt by Scandinavian-influenced label Andersson Bell and chunky-soled boots by Bottega Veneta.
