Silent wave, exceptional setting and crazy atmosphere… Blind football has conquered Paris

CHHHHHHHHHUT – The French blind football team faced Brazil on Monday, an opportunity for us to see if the French public managed to hold its tongue in front of a sport that requires silence during matches.

The players, who are visually impaired or blind, are blindfolded (to ensure fairness) and the slightest background noise prevents them from hearing the bells inserted into the ball. The whole question was whether the crowd would manage to play the game and mute it once the kick-off was given.
