Tried for killing her father and throwing his body in a well, she confesses during her trial

More than three years after the events, a woman admitted to having killed her father before the Maine-et-Loire Assize Court on Wednesday January 22. The victim's body was discovered on December 4, 2021 in a well, a few meters from his home, recalls West France. Her daughter had always denied the facts until now.

She admits to stabbing her father

The 75-year-old man was last seen alive on November 30, 2021. In court, his daughter said that a struggle took place in the house and that he ended up falling. She explained that she tried to give him first aid before stabbing him.

Despite the president's questions, the accused did not wish to reveal the reasons for this action. She said she didn't know why she threw her father's body into a well. Many questions therefore remain unanswered. The verdict must be delivered this Friday, January 24.
