A French-sounding team

Alongside the Norman we will therefore find five other French runners: Geoffrey Bouchard, Dorian Godon, Bastien Tronchon, Noah Isidore et Jordan Labrosse. For the last two cities, this will be their first participation in the Tour Down Underand for Isidorefrom the development team, this will even be his first WorldTour race! Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale therefore sends a solid team to Australia and can nourish legitimate ambitions.

“A race that I enjoy”

About this Paul Lapeira said: “I am very happy to be back competing! The Santos Tour Down Under is a race that I really enjoy, the atmosphere in Australia is special. It's back to school for everyone, including the staff, and these are special moments that we share as a team. With short and dynamic climbs, it's a race that suits me, but it's always difficult to establish a state of form at the start of the season. I know some riders on the team have worked to get here in great shape, and I'll be happy to help them get the best result possible“.
