UC Arcachonnaise on track for 2025
Founded in September 1889 by Marcel DENIERES, the Union Vélocipédique d'Arcachon became the Union Cycliste Arcachonnaise in 1897.
The historic Arcachonnais club has seen leaders and champions!
Following his glory days with Antonin Magne, Julien Moineau and many others, periods of ups and downs alternated.
The Arcachon Grand Prix with the Pros, the Tour du Bassin whose first winner was Van den Berghe on September 18, 1927, Mont de Marsan Arcachon, the Arcachon nights and especially Bordeaux-Arcachon were on the program of the organizations.
With the main partners
UC Arcachonnaise is always present in major regional events.
Only of these organizations the Tour du Bassin persists with each year a huge peloton at the start, the last edition of which (2024) was won by Pierre Mathieu Pellier.
-The 2025 edition will take place on Sunday March 23.
At the start of this 2025 season, the club of president Jean Michel Labèque has seriously strengthened.
Under the leadership of the dynamic sports director Michel Willekens, and the essential volunteers, the team of around twenty FFC members will always count on :

Léo Casado, Luc Miternique, Hugo Soulas and the Guérin brothers, Lionel and Alexandre arrived from the Vélo Club Sud Gironde, Matthieu Duby (ex US Villeneuve), Lucas Latestère (US Gradignan), Tom Vlamynck 19 years old (AS Testerine), a veteran who Clément Dupin returns (he had gone to Ufolep and wants to find a second youth), he brings an Ufolepian friend, Jesse Seguin.
The group will count on Gravel races with Bruno Saubion, Florent Blanchard and Stéphane Dorso.
The start of the season program should be busy with : March 02 St Aubin and La Ronde du Sel, March 08 Tour Entre-2-Mers, Bayonne-Mouguerre 16, Tour du Bassin 23, Agen and Barbezieux 30, then in April: Tonneins 6, 12 Ambérac, 13 Arette, 19 Gans, 19+20 Tour du Pays d'Orthe, 27 la Fouchy, etc ….
