Who are the junior runners to follow in 2025?

As is the case every year, Velo-Club offers you a list of juniors to follow this season. The opportunity to take stock of those who could shine for their second year in this category, but also the new entrants, who shone among the cadets, and should already be talked about.

And we start with Ashlyn Barrywho even before starting the season, has already signed a World Tour contract. The young American will undoubtedly be the scarecrow this year in the category.

Its main competitor will perhaps also be Danish, in the person of Noah Lindholm Møller Andersen. Very consistent in 2024, he notably won the GP Luxembourg.

On the French side, the vintage will potentially be less good than in 2024. Nothing more logical however, difficult to release a Paul Seixas every year. However, among the young people to follow, we can cite Johan Blanc, Yann Dubois, Karl Sagnier or even Jan Hernandez-Reilhé.

On the old continent, a few names to deliver, like that of Polish Janek Jackowiak. Estonian Ron Rooney will also be one to follow, just like the Belgian Edouard Claisse and Dutch Michiel Mouris. Among our Italian neighbors, two names attract attention, that of Mattia Agostinacchiorecent European Cyclo-Cross champion, as well as that ofAlessio Magagnotti.

Finally, to conclude in Europe, keep a close eye on Bastian Petric, Hakon Eiksund Oksnes et Javier Cubillas.

In Australia, Max Goold will obviously be scrutinized, just like the double African champion Kevin Teklemariam.

Among the J1s, it is even more difficult to establish a list of names, because the data is logically lacking among the cadets, and above all, it is complicated to base ourselves on anything other than the raw results. Despite everything, we can cite French Soren Bruyère Joumardrecent winner of the World Cup round in Besançon. Same for Gabriel Genterthe winner of the Madiot Trophy. Finally, quickly, we will give the names of Yellow Lejeune, Antoine Glass et Benjamin Noval, while keeping in mind that each young person has their own speed of development, and that it is therefore more than likely that some will stagnate a little while other juniors will explode in J2.
