. A club that anchors itself in the landscape

The club's general meeting has just taken place in a room at the Jacques Chirac sports complex in , well-filled for the occasion. Pascal Granié opens the session, and thanks Mathieu Perget municipal councilor (delegate for sports activities, bicycle mobility, and cycle paths), and Gérard Blondé (president of OMEPS) for their presence. It all started with a quick extraordinary meeting which concerned the change of address of the club which is now located in Port Canal. Then, it is the moral report which is presented by the secretary Vincent Poulain d'Andecy. The club created in 2018, faithful to its commitments made during its creation, continues its development, with 145 members (86 minors, 48 ​​adults, and 11 technical executives), including a good number of U15s, with 21 runners. It is emphasized that in the club the licenses are transversal, since a rider can do road, mountain biking, BMX… which allowed twenty riders to line up during the last organization of the club, for the cyclo-cross of the slaughterhouses in Montauban. This year was crowned with remarkable and innovative titles with Mélanie Guiseppin who became French e- champion, and also participation in the first pumtrack championship, where the MC82 won two titles. On the financial statement side, a very detailed explanation of the accounts is provided by Karine Salgado, and the accounting results are positive. Under the responsibility of Alexandre Roustain, the club is today well structured in terms of management for all cycling disciplines. A presentation of the activity of the different sections was developed by the supervisors of the different sections and groups.

A multidisciplinary club

In his final presentation Pascal Granié expressed his satisfaction with the excellent work of all those involved in Montauban cycling 82, whether volunteers, supervisors, runners… In 2024, the municipality of Montauban has endowed the club with premises in Port Canal, which gives another dimension to the club. For the high level road, the club will still be associated for 2025 with the N1 structure the OCF team legend wheels which will allow young people coming out of the U19 categories to be able to compete with the high level. But the other disciplines and categories will not be forgotten and in the end, the multidisciplinary cycling club carries high the colors and sporting values ​​of Montauban. Finally, the awards were presented, followed by a small lunch.
