We already know the name of the first runner who will participate in the 2025 edition of the Santos Tour Down Underand it is prestigious! The organizers of the first WorldTour stage race of the year – which will celebrate its 25th anniversary from January 21 to 26 – have indeed announced that Geraint Thomas would be there in Australia to kick off his season, perhaps the last in the Welshman's long and storied career. At 38 years old, the runnerINEOS Grenadiers is a regular recovery in the Southern Hemisphere since he will make his 10th appearance at the Australian event, having notably finished 3rd in the general classification and won a stage in 2013. He is his compatriot Stephen Williams (Israel-Premier Tech) which won last January.
