This month of December is important in the news of the National Cycling League. Indeed, two major events will take place on December 5 and 6 in Paris: the evening FDJ French Cup on Thursday and the next day, the AGM/Convention at the National Federation of Public Works. During the General Assembly of the National Cycling Leaguethe members of the board of directors will be elected, before the convention begins, where many subjects will be discussed… with two distinguished guests: Bernard Hinaultas guest of honor, and Valentin Madouasas a Great Witness.

What is the LNC General Assembly?
WHO MAKES UP THE LEAGUE BOARD OF DIRECTORS?
The Board of Directors of the National Cycling League is made up of 18 to 21 people:
. 6 seats under cycle race organizing structures, members of the LNC : including 4 representatives of the race organizers « Elite » 1st, 2nd and 3rd divisions and 2 representatives of the organizing structures of professional Criteriums (road, track and cyclo-cross);
. 4 seats for professional cycling groups, members of the LNC ;
. 1 seat as qualified person on proposal from the FFC;
. 3 seats for qualified personalities on the proposal of the Board of Directors.
. 4 seats as rider representatives “Professional elites” designated by the National Union of Professional Cyclists (UNCP);
. 2 seats as representatives of the FFC designated by the latter.
WHO DESIGNATES THEM?
They are offered by the different “cycling families” : The National Cycling League, the National Union of Professional Cyclists and the French Cycling Federation.
ORGANIZATION OF VOTES
1er tour :
When signing the digital signature, each voter receives a voting box with 10 keys. Candidates having obtained an absolute majority of valid votes cast are elected in the first round. In the event of a tie, the election goes to the oldest. If positions remain to be filled, a second round will be organized.
2nd round:
The voting procedures are identical with the exception of the following point: The election takes place by relative majority. In the event of a tie, the election goes to the oldest.
