Show and atmosphere for the Remparts cyclo-cross

Sport. The Langres Vélo-club masterfully organized, this Sunday, November 3, the 5th edition of the Remparts cyclo-cross. Children, adolescents and adults took on the demanding course under the warm encouragement of the public.

From mid-morning, it was the youngest, the U9s, who got the ball rolling in this Remparts cyclo-cross, organized by the Langres Vélo-club. The Langres event, which grows in size over the years, once again had many difficulties in store for those involved. Under bright sunshine throughout the day, the course with its many difficulties, including the famous whoops, challenged the runners.

The children, whether U9, U11 or U13, gave their all to overcome the obstacles and if a few falls were noted by the spectators present, the applause was even more numerous and once the finish line was crossed, the smiles were on the faces.

After the children, it was the teenagers and then the masters who competed in endurance but also in talent and skill to complete the cyclo-cross of the ramparts which surveyed the site of the Champ des Soeurs arranged into a circuit for the occasion and which the day after the Crémaillère trail concluded this sporting weekend on the glacis in style. The various races this Sunday, November 3, once again highlighted the know-how of the organizers, led by Christophe Sirdey, in preparing high-level circuits.

From the youngest to the most experienced, the cyclo-cross men enjoyed this 5th edition of an event which was once again contested in front of a large audience, particularly for the elite race. Among the spectators, there was Miss Witch, Vanessa Lithare but also the neo-professional within the Belgian Bingoal team, Victor Papon. The latter came to encourage and support some of the runners participating in the flagship event of the day.
