. Road – Soudal Quick-Step launches a Juniors program… with son Chavanel

Like many teams in the WorldTour peloton, the Soudal Quick-Step will have a Juniors program in 2025! In fact, the stable of Patrick Lefeverewhich already has a U23 team (Soudal Quick-Step Development), will therefore have what it takes to train runners from a very young age. And the nine talents who will form this team have been revealed. Among them, we find three French people: Valentin Petillon, Simon Defrance… et Maxence Chavanelson of a certain Sylvain Chavanel. These nine riders will all be first year juniors in 2025, with one exception, that of the Belgian Thibaut Van Damme. While he was evolving in 2024 at GRENKE Auto-Eder (Junior team of Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe), Van Damme will therefore join the Wolfpack. A very good move from the Soudal Quick-Step given the potential of the young man (10th in our ranking of the best talents born in 2007).
