Florian Auroux winner again at Niffond?

The third meeting of the Nivernaise cyclo-cross season will take place on Sunday October 27, around the Niffond pond, in Varennes-Vauzelles. The big favorite for the seniors race will be Nivernais Florian Auroux (JGS Nivernaise), already winner last week in Alluy. He could be followed by Damien Gazut and Cyrian Merlin (Team Atria-Montluçon). Here are the times: U7 to U15 from 1:15 p.m.; U17 + women, U17 from 2:30 p.m.; women's and masters at 2:31 p.m.; U19, U23 and seniors at 3:30 p.m.

Defeated in their last away matches, the hopes of USON Nevers must quickly find their way to victory or risk seeing their opponents fly away in the group. The final of the Berry-Sologne Challenge in Urzy

The Asgu Bertranges BMX club is hosting, this Saturday, October 26, the fifth and final round of the Berry-Sologne challenge, which brings together seven clubs from the Center and to which the people of Nivernais are regularly invited. Around 180 drivers are expected for this final, including around forty from the local club. Trials will begin at 2 p.m. and competition at 3:15 p.m.

Ambitious Nivernais at the French 5 km championships

Saint-Omer (Pas-de-) will be the scene, Sunday October 27, of the French 5 km championships. Eight Nivernais will be at the start of the different races between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.: Sophie Lavaut (EA 58, master 2), Fabrice Humbert (Morvan Oxygène, master 7), Olivier Urlacher (EA 58, master 2), Nathan and Théo Daroux (EA 58, seniors), Albin Le Guernigou (US Cosne, juniors), Théo Marceau (EA 58, juniors) as well as Lola Darcy ( UC, hopefuls).

D'Anastasi aims for a big time at the Valencia half-marathon

AO Nivernaise member Clément D'Anastasi will be at the start of the Valencia half-marathon (Spain) on Sunday October 27. A time below 1h08'30'' could satisfy him, but he hopes to get closer to 1h07. The Nièvre long cross champion will continue with the Saint-Sebastien marathon, still in Spain, on November 24. But as he is never satisfied, Clément D'Anastasi plans to run a 10 km in the meantime.
