. D-1 before the start of the La Castraise cyclosportive

It is tomorrow that the 2024 edition of the La Castraise cyclosportive will start from the exhibition center. This race, which brings together around 1,000 runners each year, has been organized since 2001 by Vélo Sport Castrais for the pleasure of enthusiasts who come to spend a beautiful day of cycling, in the magnificent landscapes of Sidobre and Haut Languedoc. As usual, the members of Vélo Sport Castrais, which celebrated its centenary in 2023, pulled out all the stops for this 24th edition. Three circuits will be offered to allow everyone to test themselves according to their form.

Circuit 1: the big one, Castres-Roquecourbe. Distance: 126.6 kilometers; Elevation gain: 2,074 m; Negative altitude difference: 1,970 m; Min altitude: 196 m; Maximum altitude: 885 m.

Circuit 2: the average, Castres-Roquecourbe. Distance: 93.9 kilometers; Elevation gain: 1,507 m; Negative altitude difference: 1,402 m; Min altitude: 196 m; Maximum altitude: 738 m.

Circuit 3: the small one, Castres-Roquecourbe. Distance: 68.2 kilometers; Elevation gain: 1,096 m; Negative altitude difference: 991 m; Min altitude: 196 m; Maximum altitude: 655 m.
