. Transfer – Bingoal WB extends one of its best Belgian riders

Floris De Tier extend with Bingoal WB (which will become Bingoal-Wagner Bazin in 2025). After stints in structures like the Team Jumbo-Visma of Jonas Vingegaard or even theAlpecin-Deceuninck of Mathieu Van der Poelthe 32-year-old Belgian will continue to bring his experience. This year, Floris De Tier had a very consistent 2024 season, including a 5th place in the Tour of Norwayan 18th in Tour of Slovenia and a 9th atArctic Race of Norway.

Floris De Tier: “I want to place myself even better at the top level”

After two years spent in the Belgian structure, Floris De Tier continues the adventure by extending until 2025: “I am satisfied with my 2024 campaign, especially in the races with hilly courses, where I accompanied the best on the climbs. I achieved some good results and I am very happy with them. I hope to be able to achieve the same course in 2025, especially in difficult races, where I want to place myself even better at the high level. I will also be the road captain who will communicate his experience to the younger riders of the team,” concludes the 32-year-old Belgian.

The 47-year-old general manager and former professional runner, Christophe Brandtis proud to see Floris De Tier extend the adventure with Bingoal WB for the 2025 season: “Floris De Tier is an experienced runner who will guide our young runners in the climbers program. His mission will be to transmit his mentality of riding at the front and being proactive in the race. I am counting on him a lot, hoping that he will have a 2025 season without too many physical problems. Floris has excellent values; he must assert himself even more and gain even more confidence in himself. He knows the house, and it’s up to him to put himself forward for the good of the team,” he concluded in the team’s press release.
