Cycling. Chrono des Nations – Timetables, entries… the 42nd edition at Les Herbiers on Sunday

This Sunday October 13 takes place on Chrono des Nations at Les Herbiers, a traditional end-of-season meeting for the best riders in the peloton. The Vendée city hosts the French event for a 42nd edition, the opportunity to consecrate the successors of Joshua Tarling (INEOS Grenadiers) – who had dominated the world champion Remco Evenepoel (Soudal Quick-Step) last year – and Anna Kiesenhofer (Roland). In addition to the Elite Men and Women races, these are in total nearly 200 competitors from the cadet to professional ranks who will rush from the launch pad throughout this day of competition. The distances of the different courses range from 16,650 km for young people, to 45,430 km for elite men. All the information on the website Chrono des Nations at the Herbiers and The Chrono to follow live below via YouTube.

Grace Brown to leave in style, Stefan Küng for a 3rd coronation

In particular, you should not miss the final farewell to the world of cycling from the Olympic and world champion. Grace Brownwho will start his last race before ending his career and leaving at the top of his game. It’s hard to see who could deprive the best rider in the world of a final victory in this event in which she had never participated before. It will be very difficult for the Austrian title holder Anna Kiesenhofer to achieve the double. On the men’s side, in the absence of the first two of the 2023 edition, we can expect a third coronation in four years for the Swiss Stefan Küng (Groupama-FDJ), the double winner in 2021 and 2022 having to be wary of Jay Vine, Michael Bjerg (UAE Team Emirates) or Alec Segaert (Lotto Dstny).
