A top 5 for Hugo Antunes in Rocroi in the Ardennes
For Fabrice BOST the cyclo cross season is launched with a good 4th place on Sunday at the Cormoz cyclo cross in the AIN;
Starting at the back of the line, Fabrice got a good start which quickly allowed him to return to the group which was fighting for 4th place.
Following a mechanical problem with a competitor at the head of the race, Fabrice Bost’s group was racing for 3rd place.
At the end of the difficult event, it was at 4 then 3 and finally 2 that Fabrice fought to get on the podium, the Creusetin a little tight in the final will settle for a good 4th place for a repeat race
A top 5 for Hugo ANTUNES in Rocroi in the Ardennes
This weekend Hugo went to ROCROI in the Ardennes department to participate in the interregional cyclo cross event in the U15 category.
Hugo, placed second only in line at the start, will set off with the 50 participants on a 2.2km route to be covered three times.
The circuit included a start Loop in order to stretch the peloton before the various technical passages with slopes, hills, snail, passage of boards.
Despite the weather conditions, the circuit was muddy in only two places but enough to get stuck in the mud, the random grip of the bike made progress difficult.
Embarrassed at the start, Hugo will nevertheless place himself around 15th position as soon as he exits the start Loop, and his ability will allow him to move up quickly and take 4th place at the start of the second lap. Tired at the end of the course he will be picked up and will cross the line in 5th position.
A top 10 for Mathieu PERROUX in the Péronne Time Trial in Flacé
This Saturday took place the CLM of Péronne Souvenir Forgeot in Flacé Mathieu PERROUX was entered individually (1 loop: 11.5km).
Mathieu finished 10th overall and 9th in the 16/30 year old category.
Great result for Mathieu considering the loss of time caused by a car and its trailer almost stopped on a speed bump, Mathieu who had no other choice to leave the road to avoid it thus losing a significant time
