Also the last for teammate Alice Wood

“I managed to stay focused and train hard, so I’m proud of myself for having that focus which was really important for me this year to stay motivated”continues the woman who won the time trial of Simac Ladies Tour two years ago and finished second in the general classification in this same 2022 edition. Tuesday, it is a time trial which will open the Simac Ladies Tour 2024and the Frenchwoman would obviously like to do it again, especially with the French champion jersey on her back.

“It’s going to be special because it will be the last time I wear this tunic in a race. I won at the Simac with this jersey in 2022 and it would of course be super nice to do it again”confides the native of Pontivy. This will not be the only runner in the Human Powered Health to bow out this week since the British Alice Wood (long known asAlice Barnes) is in the same case. “It’s a strange feeling knowing that this will be my last race. However, I still think it’s the perfect time to end my career”says the one who will stop at the age of 29.
