. Road – Worlds – Chloé Dygert: “Coming home with the money… Very proud”

What a silver medal for Chloe Dygert (USA). Unleashed, the pursuer fought in the last kilometers to get back to the leading group which included in particular Demi Vollering (Netherlands) and Lotte Kopecky (Belgium). The American then returned to less than 2 kilometers from the finish. She then patiently waited for the sprint to recover some energy. Enough energy to take second place behind Lotte Kopeckyuntouchable. This is a second medal in Switzerland for her, who finished 3rd in the time trial.

No, I’m really blessed and honored, you know, I really struggled this week and I struggled to want to do this race This year was really not a year for me, so to come home with this silver medal, I was really proud. so many people cheering me on just to go to the start and see how it would go…I’m really honored to have so much support.”
