Dygert seemed emotional upon arrival: “At the start of the race I wasn’t hoping for this medal and now that I have it I’m a little bored, I wanted to win (laughs). No, I’m really blessed and honored, you know, I really struggled this week and I struggled to want to do this race This year was really not a year for me, so to come home with this silver medal, I was really proud. so many people cheering me on just to go to the start and see how it would go…I’m really honored to have so much support.”
