This event brings together, in each of the teams, three men, then relayed by three women. Italy also climbed onto the podium, in third place, just eight seconds from the final victory. For its part, the French team, which was the reigning vice-world champion in this same discipline, could not do better than a final fourth place, 16” from the podium, 23” from victory.

The big finale from Labous and Kerbaol was not enough

Bruno Armirail, Thibault Guernalec and Benjamin Thomas were already fourth after their passage. Juliette Labous, Cédrine Kerbaol and Audrey Cordon-Ragot, who then left, had trouble getting started. Despite a great finish from Labous and Kerbaol, the Blues did not manage to get on the podium.
