The Quimpérois hotel Le Dupleix, located on the boulevard of the same name, along the quays of the Odet, was placed in judicial liquidation this Friday, January 24. The end of an institution in the small world of the Quimper hotel industry since the establishment had been created in June 1983.
Located at n ° 34 on Boulevard, at the bottom of a small impasse which adjoins the Departmental Council of Finistère, this hotel has 29 rooms and two meeting rooms spread over three levels. It has long been considered a prestigious hotel in the capital of Cornouaille, welcoming many tourists.
From 2016, the establishment began to host minor migrants on behalf of the department. Activity which ended at the beginning of 2024, the new law on the management of unaccompanied foreign minors prohibiting accommodation in private hotels, delegates of service.
