Faster than Morichon!

The very recent second in a round of the World Cup in Dublin (Ireland) covered the five laps of the demanding Corniguel wood circuit in 45'59 to win the ermine jersey for the u19s. Winner among the seniors, Anaïs Morichon (Arkéa B & B Hôtels) clocked 46'20. The start of the u19 event having been given one minute after that of the seniors, Lison Desprez overtook all the competitors older than her one by one to take second place in the scratch race. Halfway through the race, Lison Desprez was already alone chasing her younger sister.

“It was a great challenge to get back to the front but I would have preferred that we started together. I might have followed Anaïs. I don't know. I got closer but stalled a bit on the last lap… explained the Costarmorican after the race. We will ultimately never know. But if it was still to be proven, the Costarmorican once again demonstrated that Brittany had raw talent in its possession.
