New cyclo-cross weekend in France, with the 5th round of the French Cup this Saturday in Troyes. Already winner last week at Pierric, David Menut has once again established itself among men. The French of training AS Bike Racing raised his arms alone in front of two other tricolors, Tony Periou (2nd, Team VCP Loudéac CX) and Joshua Dubau (3rd, Van Rysel CX Racing Team). With this success, little further consolidates its lead at the head of the general classification of the French Cup.

Anaïs Morichon winner among women
In women, it is Anaïs Morichon which imposed itself. The Frenchwoman of training Arkéa-B&B Hotels was looking for his first success in almost two years on this occasion. Relaying his runner-up at almost 44 seconds, Morichon simply flew through this 5th round. And it's the young one (18 years old) Amandine Muller (AS Bike Racing) who sought this 2nd place, ahead Amandine Vidon (Ardennes Cross Team Gecibat). Muller therefore takes the lead in the general classification… with a small point ahead of A view.
In the Men's U23 category, the young Aubin Sparfel (18 years old, Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale) won solo while Theophile Vassal et Lison Desprez raised their arms in Juniors.
