Paris really does not intend to stop there. This Thursday, the Professional Football League (LFP) ordered the capital club to pay the 55 million in unpaid salaries and bonuses that its former striker Kylian Mbappé is demanding, according to information from L’Equipe and Le Parisien confirmed by RMC Sport.

Paris awaits court decision

The player had contacted the LFP legal committee, which met on Wednesday in the presence of both parties. The committee initially recommended mediation but, faced with the player’s refusal, asked PSG to pay the 55 million within a week. The club believes, according to Agence France-Presse, that it will be up to the new Real Madrid striker to contact the industrial tribunal to obtain the money.

In concrete terms, PSG has therefore made it known that it will not pay the 55 million unpaid to Mbappé and is awaiting a court decision. “In light of the limits of the legal competence of the LFP commission to make a complete decision on this matter, it must now be brought before another jurisdiction,” the capital club said in a statement. “We are not paying,” a source close to the management added to AFP.
