There Jayco AlUla made an interesting move in the transfer window by recruiting a triple professional winner this year, the Dutchman, Jelte Krijnsenfrom Q36.5 Pro Cycling. Jelte Krijnsen won twice this year, in two great races, the Tour of Denmark (4th stage) and the Grape Race. Very solid roller who goes over bumps well and is capable of finishing, a promising profile for the Jayco AlUlalacking UCI points this season.

“A WorldTour team… A dream”

Joining a WorldTour team is really a dream for me. I still can’t believe that this dream will come true next year. With the Jayco AlUla team, I found a team that has a lot of confidence in my abilities as a rider and this really motivates me to do my best. With the team, I want to do well in the spring classics, these kind of races suit me quite well. My goal is to give my best and compete at a good level in the WorldTour.” said the rookie in a statement from his future team.

Brent Copelandgeneral manager of Jayco AlUla also expressed himself: We believe we have found a raw talent here with Jelte. He is young and inexperienced when it comes to racing in the elite peloton of the WorldTour and yet he has achieved very impressive results with minimal support. So we are very excited to see what Jelte can achieve over the next few years with the right environment and support of a WorldTeam and we hope he will grow with us and become a great talent of the future.”
