Brigitte Macron opts for a jacket in her favorite color with floral buttons to close the Paralympic Games

The Paris 2024 Paralympic Games are coming to a close. Following on from the Olympic Games, it was the turn of the Paralympic competition to bow out this Sunday, September 8. After eleven days of exploits and intense emotions, the Paralympic Games ended with a closing ceremony, orchestrated at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis. In the evening, a crowd of more than 60,000 spectators came to celebrate more than 4,000 athletes. Among the personalities present, Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron, were of course in the front row, to honor the athletes who wrote this 17th edition of the Paralympic Games.

While Emmanuel Macron attended several events at the Olympics, he kept a lower profile for the Paralympic competition. Brigitte Macron, for her part, went to the final of the 3,000-meter paracycling track, and the semi-final of the men’s table tennis, for which she wore a red Alexandre Vauthier blazer. Four days later, the First Lady was this time in the stands of the Stade de France to close the Paralympic Games, sitting alongside her husband and Anne Hidalgo, the mayor of Paris, and not far from Michel Barnier, the new Prime Minister. For this new official outing, the First Lady was wearing a blue jacket, which seems to be her favorite color.
