An incredible attempted murder. On Monday, Thomas Kwan, 53, a doctor in Sunderland in the north of England, pleaded guilty to the attempted murder of his father-in-law, Patrick O’Hara. The accused, according to Reuters, falsified medical documents and attempted to use a false vaccine against Covid-19. The latter was in fact poison.
Patrick O’Hara survived but suffered from necrotizing fasciitis, a potentially fatal bacterial infection that eats away flesh, after receiving the injection, prosecutors said.

According to prosecutor Peter Makepeace, the doctor was concerned about his mother’s will which provided that her house would be left to her partner.
To achieve his goals, Thomas Kwan had prepared a well-rehearsed plan. “This plan involved disguising himself as a community nurse, going to Mr O’Hara’s address, the home he shared with the accused’s mother, and injecting him with a dangerous poison under the guise of administer a Covid booster shot.”
Kwan checked into a hotel under a false name, used fake license plates on his car and disguised himself with a wig.
