L’Artisanat C’: a dive into the outdoor facilities and lagoon swimming pools

Julien Fenech, an outdoor design specialist in Yèvres, near Brou, transforms gardens into real oases, notably thanks to the lagoon swimming pools that he installs, an alternative to traditional swimming pools.

“We carry out all the exterior landscaping, including the lagoon swimming pools. It’s a classic swimming pool, but with free shapes and submerged beaches,” he explains. These swimming pools, declared as pleasure pools, allow you to benefit from a tax reduction and do not require a building permit.

With between six to seven lagoon swimming pools created per year, this activity represents a significant part of the activity. “We enjoy creating gardens and swimming pools that fit perfectly into the landscape,” says Julien Fenech. The company’s customer base is varied and extends well beyond the local region for the installation of equipment.

The idea of lagoon pools is inspired by the south of , a trend that has gained momentum with the Covid-19 pandemic. “People got tired of rectangular pools with a shutter on the top. They want something different, which fits better into their garden,” explains Julien Fenech. These swimming pools allow you to create a real landscape, with flowerbeds and terraces around.

These pools are designed to look beautiful all year round, even in winter when they are frozen.

Each project is almost unique and personalized. “We don’t have a standard price. It all depends on the options chosen, such as aerotherapy, massage or management by smartphone,” specifies Julien Fenech. The team carries out studies, plans and modeling before proposing a tailor-made offer.

Safety remains a priority, beyond aesthetics, even for shallow pools. “We create secure exteriors with decorative fences or flowerbeds. The goal is not to distort the landscape,” emphasizes Julien Fenech. “These pools are designed to look beautiful all year round, even in the winter when they are frozen.”

For Julien Fenech, each swimming pool is a work of art that must integrate harmoniously into its environment. “We like to represent a landscape and integrate it into the garden. That’s what we really like,” he concludes.
