The Ministry of Health and Social Protection reported on Friday, in its weekly bulletin, a single new case of Covid-19 infection.
In its bulletin on the epidemiological situation covering the period from September 28 to October 4, 2024, the ministry specifies that the number of first-time vaccinated reached 24,924,987, that of people having received two doses amounts to 23,427,039, then that 6,889,766 people have received three injections of the vaccine and 61,583 the fourth dose.

The new weekly infection report brings the total number of contaminations to 1,279,435 since the first case reported in Morocco on March 2, 2020, with a weekly positivity rate of 1.3%.
The total number of deaths remains at 16,309, for a general case fatality rate of 1.3%, with one active case.
The new case of infection was recorded in the Greater Casablanca-Settat region.
