The return of a general practitioner suspended for refusing to be vaccinated against Covid divides in the North. While the lack of practitioners is glaring, some welcome this return, others take a dim view of the return of an anti-vax doctor.
The Parisian recounts the return of general practitioner Grégory Pamart to his medical practice located in Jenlain, in the Nord department. The latter had not worked there since 2021 and his suspension for refusing to submit to the Covid vaccine, then compulsory for caregivers.
“Prudent”, the doctor did not want to receive a “useless” vaccine with “medium and long term risks still not measured”, in his words.

But three years later, he is back in Jenlain, in a rural area near Valenciennes. This is reassuring news for its patients, who are facing a real shortage of doctors in the sector. But others say they are suspicious, not understanding how a general practitioner can declare himself hostile to vaccination.

The Parisian adds that Grégory Pamart will be judged on December 11 for having prescribed ivermectin, a treatment not validated by the health authorities, to a patient in December 2020. The doctor could be forced to close his office again following this decision of the National Council of the Order of Physicians.
