In Argentina, civil society stands up against the reduction of public information

The decrease in state transparency is causing concern in Argentina. More than 60 associations, NGOs and civil society organizations denounce the restriction of access to public information decided by decree by the ultraliberal president Javier Milei.

Another obstacle created by the decree: it will now be impossible to access the preparatory deliberations and working documents of a case. What was previously the exception when the documents were classified confidential is now the rule.
