Man has always questioned his history and genealogy, with archaeologists constantly seeking to shape the history of our civilizations. These are partly defined by the development of cities, which over time become organized towns that can accommodate thousands, even millions of inhabitants. Many of the first cities in History have since disappeared. Which ones have been able to resist the passage of time to the point of still being inhabited and active today?
