Two other guests stood out during the photocall: Victor Belmondo, new ambassador of Berluti, who happily posed alongside Anthony Delon, a great friend of his father, Paul Belmondo. In all elegance, the two men played fire in front of the photographers, multiplying their smiles highlighting all their charm.

And this evening would have been nothing without the presence of Jean-Marc Mansvelt, the new general director of the house who spoke with journalists from Figaro to explain his vision of Berluti.

Richelieu, Forestière jacket, two-day bag… Nothing was left to chance by the general director who has been at the helm of the house for more than a year for this new collection which risks being emulated. “We rely on our timeless, on our legendary models by keeping them up to date, by revisiting them. But also about the rest of our history: some houses only tell their beginnings and their very recent history, neglecting everything that happened in the meantime. We don't want to erase anything, explains Jean-Marc Mansvelt. We are a house with loyal customers, we must offer them not only the strong aesthetic that has made us successful over the years, but also sometimes more discreet alternatives, complementing their wardrobe and their shoe collection..”

As he recalls, for Berluti's 130th anniversary, the brand focused on two icons: “The Alessandro and, for next winter, its cousin the Mount Thabor with a wider toe, in a patina of subtle false blacks which, in the light, reveal blue, plum or beetle hues, mounted on different types of soles for worn more or less casually.”The tone for next winter is set!
