Uma Thurman joins the cast of “Dexter: Resurrection”

Star Uma Thurman will appear in the cast of the sequel to the series Dexter, expected for June 2025.

Quite a catch. Actress Uma Thurman joins the “Dexter” universe. According to information from Deadline, the 54-year-old star is in the casting of “Dexter: Resurrection”, a sequel to the cult series created in 2006. She will star opposite Michael C. Hall, who reprises his role as the iconic killer in series.

While filming began this month in New York, the star of “Pulp Fiction” and “Kill Bill” will play on screen “a former special operations officer” called Charley, “responsible for the security of the mysterious billionaire Leon Prater” of which she is “the right arm”, reports the American media.

David Zayas, James Remar and Jack Alcott will complete the cast and reprise their roles as detective Angel Batista, Dexter's father, and Dexter's son, in this sequel expected for June 2025, according to the IMDB site. The series distributed by Paramount will have ten episodes.

While waiting for the arrival of Uma Thurman in the sequel to this franchise, another project “Dexter: The Origins”, this time devoted to the young years of the famous serial killer, is arriving very soon. The first two episodes of this prequel series will be broadcast on February 6 on CANAL+, with actor Patrick Gibson in the role of the young version of Dexter.
