It’s a decision that suits everyone a bit. If Haas has made Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman its drivers for the 2025 season, the American team has not definitively turned its back on Kevin Magnussen, who was still driving last season. Although the Dane must compete in the World Endurance Championship and a few races in IMSA, he will retain a role at Haas.

To develop a single-seater, nothing beats the experience of a driver. And Kevin Magnussen is one of them. The Dane took part in 185 Grands Prix, including 145 with Haas. At 32, he will deliver his various returns to best maximize the single-seaters of Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman. Even more, Kevin Magnussen could occupy the role of reserve driver for a few weekends, in addition to carrying out private tests.
