If Alain Delon was considered a true Don Juan, few women really marked his life. In video, Anthony Delon paid a vibrant tribute to his mother, Nathalie Delon, who died four years ago. The 60-year-old actor shared with his 238,000 subscribers on Instagram on Tuesday, January 21, a video of his now deceased parents. A sequence during which Alain Delon talks about his companions whom he really loved.
The extract was filmed on January 2, 2021 as part of the filming of a documentary. Nathalie Delon is sitting opposite her ex-husband. “Mom said you were the man of her life,” Anthony first said to his father. “It’s normal, who else would it be?”, replies Alain Delon. The opportunity for his son to question him: “And you, who is the woman of your life?” The actor of The swimming pool (1969) thinks briefly, then replies: “I don’t have just one, unfortunately. I owe him that. There is your mother and then there is Mireille.” When Nathalie Delon asked him about the nature of his relationship with Romy Schneider, the actor who died in August 2024 replied: “No, not Romy, it was cinema.”

The memory of a legendary couple
Nathalie Delon and Alain Delon met in 1962, and said “yes” to each other in 1964. Installed in the United States, the couple gave birth to Anthony Delon on September 30, 1964, in Los Angeles. In 1968, Nathalie Delon and Alain Delon divorced. The French actress died in January 2021 from cancer, a few days after filming the video.
