Good news because a few weeks before the release of the new “Bridget Jones: Mad About Him”, Renée Zellweger has her work cut out for her. In the feature film, her character is a single mother whose love life is turned upside down by the arrival of two new suitors, played by Chiwetel Ejiofor and Leo Woodall.
“I think people recognize themselves in Bridget Jones and identify with her struggles and her doubts. Bridget is authentically herself,” says the actress. “She doesn’t always make the right decisions, but whatever her faults, she remains cheerful and optimistic, keeps going and triumphs in her own way.”
