For those who don’t know, the TF1 channel made its debut on the airwaves on January 6, 1975. To celebrate these 50 years of existence, Gilles Bouleau and Isabelle Ithurburu (who is a former Miss) are filming the pages of an album of memories rich in information, cult TV shows and documentaries.

The opportunity to take an interest in Gilles Bouleau, who is therefore co-presenter of this show, and more precisely to his wife. Her name is Elisabeth Tran, and she works for the same company as him.
Indeed, she is in charge of coordinating the reporting teams, in particular for the 1 p.m. news, on the themes of gastronomy, crafts, music and entertainment.. A graduate of the Lille School of Journalism, she started out as a reporter in the field, before subsequently becoming section head of the culture department of TF1.

-If her name doesn’t mean anything to you, it’s because she preferred to stay in the shadows, unlike her husband. But in 2015, the couple gave an interview to our colleagues at Gala. The two lovebirds then confided to the magazine that they often had difficulty “to pick up”, “even on weekends”, of their profession.
And for 7 Days TVGilles Bouleau explained this: “I am discreet by nature. From the beginning, I erected barriers to protect my wife (…) and my two daughters. I never wanted them to be exposed or bothered.” The couple, who formed several years ago, actually welcomed two little princesses, who are now very big since they were born in 1992 and 1996 respectively.
Finally, let’s remember that Gilles Bouleau has been presenting the 8 p.m. news on TF1 for more than ten years. He succeeded Laurence Ferrari on June 4, 2012. Before that, he was a correspondent in London and then in Washington for the channel. He also served as head of special operations.
