Patrick Bruel’s tears as his memories went up in smoke in his Los Angeles home

Patrick Bruel believes that the losses suffered with the destruction of his Californian home are not only “material”. The French singer-songwriter is among the famous people, like Laeticia Hallyday, and anonymous people whose house was consumed by flames during the gigantic fires in Los Angeles.

“It’s eight years of life, preparation, installation there,” Patrick Bruel told Parisian about his destroyed house. But the most painful are the “memories”, these “intimate things” which are not worth much to insurers, but are priceless in his eyes.
