Text: Marco Polisson – Mother Richard’s only daughter was taken away in the morning of Sunday January 19, 2024 by a heart attack. For several months, she had been battling a sneaky cancer, which gave her very little respite.
Two days before the opening of SIRHA, which he is organizing, Olivier Ginonpresident of the GL events Group reacted on LinkedIn. Here is his message:
“Disappearance of a lady of the heart”
“It is with deep sadness that I learned yesterday morning of the death of Renée Richard. Renée was an essential figure at the Halles Paul Bocuse, but for me, she was above all a friend. We shared a common passion for Lyon, its traditions, its excellence… and Saint-Marcellin.
Her journey commands respect: she was able to impose her talent, her character and her vision, becoming the soul of an emblematic place in our city. Renée had this rare gift of gathering, transmitting and bringing to life what really mattered.
His absence will leave a huge void, but his legacy will continue to inspire us.
