The (false) news spread in the village of Thiron-Gardais like wildfire.
Social networks and some websites have been affirming, for several days, that the best-known Thironnais has left his main residence, installed for several years already within the Royal and Military College of Thiron-Gardais, to settle down in Le Lavandou, in the Var. “Stéphane Bern changes his life” did not hesitate to headline some of these media.
The news would only be pure conjecture. It is in fact based on a video which would have been broadcast on January 6 during the greeting ceremony of the mayor of Lavandou, Gil Bernardi, and in which the television man praises the charms of the Var seaside town which seduced. He also claims in this document to have moved there for several months.
-According to our information, Stéphane Bern would have stayed at Lavandou last summer for his vacation and would have chosen to move into a second home there. “But not to leave Thiron”, as the mayor of the former capital of the canton of Perche, François Dordoigne, tells us, who also counts the facilitator among his municipal councilors.
