“I didn’t want to hurt Julie de Bona”, Gérémy Crédeville (Lucas) returns to the impressive strangulation scene in the TF1 series

The comedian and actor Gérémy Crédeville continues his merry way in comedy. After landing the role of Milo in With familythe M6 summer series, viewers discovered this participant in the eleventh season of Dancing with the stars and season 6 of Mask Singer under the scarecrow’s costume The Hikersthe mini-series by Frédéric Berthe. He played Pablo, a mountain guide. He found the same director in the series Erica (our opinion) where he plays Lucas, the violent husband of Anna (Maud Baecker), the heroine’s sister. He confides in Télé-Loisirs about this intense role.

Erica : “It was great to play an ‘asshole’”Gérémy Crédeville talks about his character in the TF1 series

Télé-Loisirs: Can you introduce Lucas to us?
Génrémy Crédeville:
Oh, he’s an asshole! [Il rit.] To be less familiar, he’s not a good guy. It was great to play. What was also pleasant was that 80% of the film crew had already worked on The Hikers. We really messed around a lot in the mountains during filming. So, on the sequences where I had to play a bastard in Ericait was tasty because I could see from their faces that it was going to do it.

Why is this “awesome“to play a”asshole“as you say?
It’s much more interesting for a comedian to play a dark character. And even, all the actors love villain characters. I’m happy because, in terms of duration in the episodes, I’m not necessarily super present but the character is striking. Viewers are immediately uncomfortable when they see him. The goal was for them to feel empathy for the character played by Maud Baecker. I think the bet was successful.

And he has a certain look…
It is between the real estate agent, the insurer and the banker. We said to ourselves that to make him a little naughtier, we were going to give him a side parting. In everyday life, I tend to have messy hair, and that obviously didn’t suit this villain role. We gave him a serious cut. The guy who seems wise but, at home, is a little crazy…

Erica : Gérémy Crédeville reveals behind the scenes of his two scenes of violence with Julie de Bona

Can you tell us behind the scenes of the violent scene with Julie de Bona, which viewers discovered during the first week of broadcast?
It was nice. Obviously, we rehearsed this side “strangulation“, because I didn’t want to hurt her at all. She said to me: “Go ahead anyway, it still has to show in the image.”. We calibrated well because we got along really well. Martin, one of the producers, immediately sent me a message when he saw the rushes in the evening. He told me that the scene during the visit was great, because he’s all smiles and then suddenly he changes, he completely spins! That’s what’s interesting about this scene.

And that of the wine that your character gets in the face?
We only had two white shirts except we did three takes! For the first, only the shirt took. For the second, there was a problem: I received a kind of water with a coloring and it made a good mask for me [il rit]. I suggested that he continue his conversation as if nothing had happened in front of the client. He stood straight in his boots. But it was not accepted.
