Bruce Willis made a rare appearance in public to thank police officers mobilized to respond to the Los Angeles fires. On Thursday on Instagram, his wife, Emma Heming Willis, shared a brief black-and-white video showing the 69-year-old actor shaking hands with two police officers and posing with them for a photo.
“When he sees a rescuer, Bruce Willis never misses an opportunity to show his gratitude by sincerely shaking their hand and saying “thank you for your help.” Yesterday was no different,” wrote Emma Heming Willis in the caption. “It fills me with happiness,” commented Tallulah Willis, youngest daughter of Bruce and his ex-wife, Demi Moore.
Bruce Willis retired from performing in 2022, after being diagnosed with aphasia. The following year, Emma Willis and Demi Moore made a joint statement to announce that the “Die Hard” star had been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) after experiencing “communication problems.”
