The fires in Los Angeles ravaged the City of Angels where neighborhoods were completely razed by the flames. Like many others, the house of Laetitia and Johnny Hallyday located in the upscale neighborhood of Pacific Palisades was reduced to ashes. Only Joy, one of the girls, was present in the Californian city at the time of the fires.
When she arrived on scene, the 16-year-old girl realized that her dog, Cheyenne, was still in the burning house. According to several sources, the teenager and one of her neighbors went inside without hesitation, despite the smoke and growing flames. “She didn’t think, she just followed her heart. Joy is a true heroine,” testified someone close to the Hallydays.
Her act of bravery was praised on social networks, the young girl received numerous messages from Internet users and personalities. Los Angeles fires have killed at least 24 people. Like many others, Laetitia Hallyday shared images of the ruins of the house she shared with Johnny. “We lost a house, but we still have the essentials: life and the love that unites us,” Johnny’s widow confided.
