Not only did the Princess of Wales make a surprise outing on Tuesday, but she also announced that she was in remission from her cancer. Happy news that she celebrated by visiting the nursing staff and patients at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London, where she underwent her chemotherapy treatment.

Kate Middleton appeared in great shape when she arrived at the hospital on January 14. For her very first solo engagement in over a year, the princess relied on the comfort and elegance of a burgundy and brown ensemble by bringing out several pieces that had already proven themselves: a checked coat from the Italian brand Blazé Milano, underneath which she wore a thin Kiltane cashmere turtleneck and a perfectly matching asymmetrical pleated skirt from Edeline Lee.

Beyond this successful winter look, it was especially the British woman's accessories that attracted attention. Prince William's wife has indeed unveiled a new burgundy Asprey London handbag, complete with her pair of Russell & Bromley pumps, as detailed by the specialist blog “Kate's Closet”.

There was also something new on the jewelry side, since Kate Middleton unveiled a magnificent new pair of earrings: the essential “Trinity” model from Cartier, with its three intertwined golds. Another jewel signed Cartier, the princess once again wore her “Etincelle” ring, a diamond and sapphire ring which appeared on her finger last summer.

In a video relayed on social networks last August, to celebrate the Paris Olympic Games, Kate Middleton unveiled a new assortment of rings on her ring finger. Instead of her imposing engagement ring inherited from Diana, the Princess of Wales now likes to combine her wedding ring in Welsh gold, her fine diamond ring given by William at the time of George's birth in 2013, a second ring eternity ring in diamonds and the Cartier “Etincelles” ring in diamonds and sapphires, which is reminiscent of her engagement ring.
