Gabrielle is a mother for the very first time

For six years, Gabrielle et Jonathan faced the challenges of assisted procreation together. Inseminations, in vitro cycles, hormonal treatments… They have tried everything. But the road was strewn with pitfalls: a miscarriage, unreassuring medical diagnoses and an emotional roller coaster. Gabrielle even received an early diagnosis of perimenopause, which made their chances even slimmer.

After so many trials, they made a difficult but essential decision: to let go. They chose to focus on their well-being and trust in life. And against all odds, in 2024, the miracle happened. Gabrielle got pregnant naturally.

«Sometimes life is challenging, sometimes it is magical.
2024, you will have been magical.

After 6 years of assisted reproduction to have a little baby, without success; 6 inseminations, 3 In Vitro cycles, a miscarriage, too many cysts, too many hormones,
After 6 years of stressing about time because I have “43 years of ovaries at 25 and I’m in a hurry”, because I’m in perimenopause and my endometrium isn’t thickening enough,
After 6 years of psychological and physical challenges we said: stop. That’s enough.
We have to take care of ourselves and trust in life. Trust that no matter our path, child or not, we can choose to be happy.

6 years later, it’s 2024.
It’s now.
And you are there.
You kick me incessantly to remind me that you are there.
In 2024 you arrived in my belly, naturally.

Sometimes life is challenging, sometimes it is magical.
2024 will have been magical.

You will have made me grow,
You will have taught me so many things about myself and about others,
You will have been gentle,
You will have been effervescent.

Merci 2024.
Thank you for Passe-Partout, which lasts and which fills my heart every year.
Thank you for La Géante, a transformative project.
Thank you for my lover to whom I said yes this year after 10 years of love. My precious partner and future exceptional father.
Thanks for Auguste.

I am ready for 2025.
Whether you’re magical or challenging, or both ;)”
